How to Process Scheduled/ Pre-Orders
Pre-order is an option for consumers to order food on an online platform for a particular day and time. Consumers can select collection or delivery as order type.
Note: A push message notification displays on screen for Pre-orders.
When a consumer orders a scheduled/pre-order, the order displays in the current tab with a pre-order tag on the order. Users can view the details of the order (date & time) and can progress the order for ready as per the scheduled time.
On accepting the order, the user assigns the delivery order to the driver and for collection orders consumer will receive a push notification/SMS when the order is ready.
User can re-assign the order from the Sent tab, when the driver is not available/busy.
Once the order is delivered to the consumer, the driver will update the status of the order to complete in the Drive2Success App and the same order automatically moves to the "Hidden" tab on the Fusion.
